Well, I have only just begun and I already have my first trilogy… Okay, not exactly a trilogy and it’s not exactly mine, but let me explain…
Starting my own website/blog has been a dream of mine for YEARS… yet, I kept putting if off based on fear: What if I did it wrong? What if nobody read it? What if nobody cared? Let’s face it, fear can be so debilitating! Nevertheless, I was committed to finally making this dream a reality and I was not going to let fear stop me… well not totally… Ok – maybe a bit… AHHHH!!!!…
So, I had been trying to find the PERFECT book to launch my website with – one that incapsulated my “why”… and I found it!
But then I got to thinking (which is always a dangerous thing), maybe I need to start with a book that centres around my “how”… and I found it!
However, once again, I began over-analyzing things and I thought perhaps I should find a book that centred more around my “what”… and I found it!
But the question now became: “Which one should I use?” And the resounding answer screaming through my head was “ALL THREE!”
Now, I know I claimed earlier that I found these books… well I did, but do you know what… I think it would be more fitting to say that they found me! These 3 books, my “trilogy”, have given me my WHAT, my HOW, and my WHY to move forward and embark on this adventure with clear purpose, direction, and intent. YES, Children’s Literature is so pleasurable and powerful in the same breath. I’m am so glad that I took this chance and that I finally can assist in “unlocking the potential” each book holds!
So, thanks for knocking… I am so excited you are here – Let’s unlock some doors together!
